After graduating with a B.Comm. from University College Dublin, he spent 7 years teaching and lecturing in Paris. Seamus moved back to Dublin in 1997 and joined Oracle, where he specialized in recruitment. He worked for eight years, initially as Recruitment Manager for Ireland, and then as Recruitment Director for Oracle's Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Since 2005, Seamus has worked as a management consultant, trainer and coach with Sapient and Springboard Consulting. He is a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is certified as a trainer by the Irish Management Institute. Seamus is fluent in French and, with a working knowledge of Spanish, Seamus relishes the opportunity to work across cultures and nationalities. His French wife, Spanish in-laws, and 2 young kids help ensure that the time he can spend on golf, history, philosophy and getting up to speed on behavioral economics is limited.
