On Season 2 Episode 2 of the Think Like A Founder podcast, Maureen Taylor interviews Karla Gallardo, Co-Founder and CEO of Cuyana.
Karla Gallardo is the Co-Founder and CEO of Cyuana. Cuyana is a sustainable women’s fashion brand based on the mantra, “fewer, better”. They create pieces for the modern woman, using carefully selected fabrics and precise silhouettes, to encourage purchasing fewer but better quality and long-lasting items. Prior to founding Cuyana, Karla worked as a business analyst at Goldman Sachs. Karla was also featured on Entrepreneur’s 100 Powerful Women.
For the first time I felt I couldn’t come even close to being perfect. I just decided to let go and not try to be the best student in the class, but rather just listen and learn and understand, and also in a way, enjoy myself without that pressure. — Karla Gallardo
